My Hunk of the Day is a nice specimen of dark chocolate, Lance Gross. Isn't he just so scrumptious. He's nest known for playing Calvin Payne in House of Payne and you might have seen him in a couple of music videos with Solange, Letoya Luckett and much more. He's engaged to the beautiful Eva Pigford. Isn't she a lucky lady? Great bod, great smile, good ole chocolatey smooth skin, makes me hungry LOL! Enjoy the eye candy ladies!

Leona Stays Sleek...

I might be in love with Leona Lewis after peeping her album cover for Echo, slated to be released November 17th. She looks lovely! I've heard that she might be taking a slight turn from her trademark ballads to more upbeat songs, but all the songs I've heard that has leaked has been ballads. We'll see.

THROWBACK VIDEO!

This is one of my favorite songs from Slick Rick. One of Hip Hop's greatest story tellers is known for his classics like "Children's Story" and "Mona Lisa", "Hey Young World" is a dope song. If i was a teen in 88' up to no good and I heard this song, I'd prolly go to school and try to get good grades. Good song!

All in Your Ear...

I've been wondering wear my love, Janelle Monae, disappeared to. Finally, she has come back and released some new material since she released her first EP, Metropolis, Suite I: The Chase. "Come Alive (The War of Roses)" was written by Janelle herself and Chuck Lightning and produced by Nate "Rocket" Wonder. This track is crazy but I love it. Her full length album, Metropolis, is set to be released next year. Take a listen guys!

Usher is so totally back guys! Even though he just released his latest album, Here I Stand, last year, his upcoming 6th studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond, is slated to be released in December. I've hear plenty of songs that has leaked from Usher these past couple months. I don't know if it's from this upcoming album but this one entitled "Papers" really caught my ear. The song speaks for itself. It's raw, personal and tells the truth about his love life that was very much a media talk. I like it. Check it.

Ehhh, it's not so new but I just seen Whitney Houston's "Million Dollar Bill" today and just had to blog it. She looks fabolous. I really think she's giving these young chicks a run for their money. Even with crack, she has aged beautifully. This is her second single from her 7th studio album, I Look To You. I dig this song. GO WHITNEY!


Here's something more brand spanking new. A couple months back, I did a post on a girl name Uffie and gave a song that you should definitely have in your Itunes. Although, this wasn't the same song, this song made me catch on to her. That was almost two years ago. Now, she has released a video for "Pop the Glock", which was directed by Nathalie Canguilhem. I like the simple side AND the crazy graphics/animation/colors of this video. I suggest you take a peep guys.

Brandy SIngs Her Heart Out...

Before Beyonce was my main bitch, there was Brandy. People expected me to just forget about her but you can't forget a good talent. And everyone would look at me dumb when I said that I thought Brandy could really sing. I wonder how their face is now when they see this video. With "no makeup, ugly faces, sleepy eyes and WRONG LYRICS", she still found a way to rip "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Brandy's voice. I'm a fan of raspyness. So, if there's still a little bit of doubt in your heart that Brandy can't sing, jsut sit here and watch this. And if you still have doubt, please jump off a cliff ASAP! Thanks! =)

Solo & The City...

She may not be your favorite Knowles sister, but Solange sure has bigger balls than most of us. Check out her new fab spread in Honey magazine. In her interview she talked about working on a new album, her hair, her parents and suspect beau, rapper Wale. Check out what she said:

"Well, he’s definitely not my boyfriend, but we are good friends. I have worked with him in the past and I think he’s uber-talented. I think he’s really smart and really creative. And I respect his art. We have a mutual thing. We’re on the same record label and yeah…"

That's all I really cared to know because Wale makes me barf personally. Anywhoo, she looks to gorgeous in this shoot. I love how she's like the complete opposite from her sister with a twist.

RIP A.J. Jewell

This has got to be the most I've done RIP posts in a midst of three weeks. Kandi Burruss's (Real Housewives of Atlanta) fiance, A.J. Jewell, was killed Friday night during a fight in Atlanta. Police said he took a serious blow to the head and by the time he reached the hospital, he was already gone.

A.J. and Kandi's engagement caused quite a few problems between her & her mother (and needless to say the blogs) because he had 6 kids. Kandi is also the legal guardian of his twin daughters. I can only imagine how she is feeling. I even felt some type of way just because I was watching an episode just the night before. I know she really loved him despite what other people thought =(. Sighs, this world we live in I tell ya.

Foot Work...

These right now are a MUST-HAVE in my closet. They are the Fogler's from Aldo's. I've seen them up-close and they are pretty high. My type of shoe. They come in black, grey and purple. I'm dying to have these, SHEEEESH!

Now, aren't these something? They are the Andy Warhol X Marilyn Monroe X Nike Air Max 90's. Of course they were made by the classic Andy Warhol painting of Ms. Monroe. I'm not a sneaker girl (anymore) but just outta my love for Marilyn, I would cop these. =)
