A Pretty Downfall...

So, when I woke up today, I went on Twitter and saw all these "#prayforMaiaCampbell" topics. I knew who the girl was so I was just wondering, whats all the fuss about? Is she dying? Have cancer, what? Then I remembered a few months back when I used to read trash like mediatakeout.com, they had an entry about a reader seeing her and her looking a hot mess. I don't remember the whole story but she was definitely on drugs. Now, I just watched the video and I was honestly scared and saddened.

For those who don't know who Maia Campbell is, she is best known for her role as Tiffany in the 90s sitcom, In The House. She had a minor role as of Tupac's (Lucky) slayed cousin sister in Poetic Justice. Also, she was the leading lady in two of Tyrese videos, "Sweet Lady" and "Lately". I just hate to see when a beautiful person, especially a talented one, is seen years later like THIS! I just wanna know how did she get to this point. Did she think it was the end after In The House ended? Depression? She even stated in the video that she has a daughter she's looking for. It's a real sad case. I honestly think that she's not gonna get any better, she might just get worse unless someone rescues her like Superman. However, until then, just do like the trending topic says and pray for her.
